Approximate number of copies printed: 3000 for the two-map plate 88. Another 3450 of half sheet plate 88a becomes 88A=89A=90A in combination with first 89B Rugiæ (from 1584 to 1598), later with 90B, Oldenburg (from 1598 to 1641).
Remarks: Ort 88a = from 1584 onwards Ort 89A, occurs then with Ort 89B Rugiæ (which is a separate half sheet plate). In 1592L, plate 89A still includes a connecting line of 45 mm at the bottom and top. However, in 1598F plate Ort 88A has been trimmed to the engraved area only. After 1595 or 1598, Ort 90A (= Ort88A = Ort 89A) is paired with Oldenburg, plate Ort 90B. Plate Ort 88b is replaced by full sheet plate Ort 156 Prussiæ in 1584.
