Approximate number of copies printed: 8175.

States: 80.1 above.
80.2: in 1584, hachuring along coast lines and banks of lakes extended from 3 to 5 mm.
80.3: from 1595L onwards, stippling around the lettering of "OCEANI GERMANICI PARS" along the top.
80.4: new date, 1603, occurs in some 1603 Latin editions, all copies of Vrients' Low Countries atlas of 1603, but not in 1606E.
80.5: new date, 1605, occurs from 1608/1612I onwards; two placenames have been added: "Die Bertaignsche heyde" and "Boerentange". I found a copy dated 1605 with the text of 1602S, probably a left over text plate on which the map was later printed, viz. in 1609 for the 1609/1612S edition.
80.6: date has been removed altogether; occurs in post-1612 editions with Spanish text.
