Cartographica Neerlandica Background for Ortelius Map No. 178

Title: GEOGRAPHIA/SACRA When I wrote "Ortelius Atlas maps" which was published in 1996, I thought that this was a precursor of Ort179, but meanwhile I found out that this map was a close copy, (but without a cartouche around the title) of Ort179 Geographia sacra made by Janssonius in 1652 (vdK AN volume I map 0810H:1). Therefore this map has been removed from the list of Ortelius' atlas maps.
